Reporting a Death – A Guide for Relatives and Heirs

We’re sorry for your loss and want to support you as best we can during this difficult time. If a Tipico customer has passed away, you can report the death and request a payout of any remaining account balance, if applicable.


📩 How do I report a customer’s death?

Please send an email to dpo@tipico.com including the following documents:

  • Death certificate
  • Photo of the front and back of your valid ID or passport

Our team will review the information and inform you about the next steps.


🔒 What happens to the deceased customer’s account?

Once we receive and verify the documents, the account will be locked for security reasons. This ensures that no unauthorized access can occur and that any remaining funds are protected.


💶 How can I request a payout of the remaining balance?

To initiate a payout, we require the following documents:

  • Death certificate
  • Photo of the front and back of your valid ID or passport
  • Certificate of inheritance – it must clearly show that you are the primary heir
  • Bank statement – a photo showing IBAN, name, and date clearly, so we can process the manual transfer

Your data will, of course, be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Once the verification and manual transfer are complete, you will receive a confirmation by email.

Processing may take a few working days, depending on the completeness and clarity of the submitted documents. Our team will do its best to ensure a smooth and timely resolution.
