 For proof of identification, the following is important:

• Valid
• Not damaged
• Data fully visible and readable (preferably photograph the document with a margin of about 1 cm around it, and watch out for reflections)

If your proof of identification does not confirm your address or does not contain an address (e.g., passport), we need a separate proof of address.

• Utility bill (landline/DSL, electricity, water, gas, waste)
• Bank statement (with name, address, and date)
• Registration certificate
• GEZ notice
• Official letter (e.g., from the tax office, employment office/job center)

The issue date must be visible and not older than 6 months.

Mobile phone bills, salary slips, and insurance bills or confirmations can not be accepted for verification.
